Was it a training or a vacation?

12-13-16 ~ 12-18-16

I had a blast in Chi-town! It was dangerously cold, but nothing stopped me from getting around.

As a reminder, the purpose of the trip was for us to learn about the tax software our clients might be using. So the firm sent my coworker and me to Chicago.

The Chicago office is located in Aon Center.
FYI, it's the fourth tallest building in Chicago.

Here's why I took so many pictures. The view from the office is astonishing 😍.

Millennium Park view

John Hancock view

Willis Tower view

My hotel (Radisson Blu Aqua) view

We didn't have to go to 360 Chicago or Sky deck. This IS the observatory deck.

Our training ran from 8:30am to 4pm. We spent rest of the time to explore the windy city.

We got ahead of the schedule and finished the course on Thursday. So we had a free day on Friday!

My coworker and I visited the Art Institute of Chicago and the science museum.

I am so thankful that my coworker was there to explore the city with me. This trip allowed us to bond and appreciate each other.

Of course, FOOD.

The Little Goat

Lou Malnati's
(Chicago deep dish pizza)

Crisp
(Korean fried chicken)

Wildberry Pancakes

Howells and Hood

Girl & the Goat
(pig face)

The server was super nice and gave us a complimentary chocolate cake.
I will give them 👍👍 for their outstanding service. Plus, the dessert was SO yummy.

On Saturday, we had the full day to take the certification exam.

And last day (Sunday)... already (😢)

I made so many memories with my Chicago family, my coworker, and my cousin.
Thank you for taking your time to hang out with me!

Bye Chicago!

Again, it felt like I was coming back from a vacation. I appreciated every moment in Chicago.
