I'm liking Portland so far 😊.

I spent my Thanksgiving studying for most of the day. Then I had dinner with my relatives. 

I spent my weekend in Eugene. It was nice to go back home and spend time with my family ❤. 

I took Monday off and stopped by at University of Oregon to see my professor. Took a small gift to show my appreciation for him. 


After I came back, work has been quite busy but it's still manageable. At the moment, I have 3 different engagements I'm working on.

It's already the last month of the year!
Time flies... and soon it will be New Years and a busy season.

11.13.16 ~ 11.20.16 Weeks are going by REALLY fast! It's close to Thanksgiving and Christmas 😄. My work has been treating me well. As of now, I actually enjoy work because they are doable but challenging enough. I learn something new every day. I am less intimidated when I'm given a project. Overall work is great and I am NOT paid to say this. Haha.  Last week, I shopped at Nike Company Store. 2-hour was not enough...  I bought one item for myself and the rest is (Christmas) gifts 🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁. Frosty Chicago

12/10/16 - 12/12/16 Saturday morning, I went from PDX to PHX. My final destination was ORD. My flight at PHX got cancelled... 😲😲😲 My Chicago families were waiting for me. I started panicking because it was my grandma's birthday and I didn't want to miss the birthday party.  The American Airlines customer service lady didn't know what she was doing... took forever to rebook my flight to the next available one. After 30 minutes and asking two of her co-workers she finally had me on standby for the next flight. Standby doesn't guarantee anything... I started asking God to help me get on the flight. They started calling the people on standby. 33 people were all waiting desperately. I was listed as the 8th person. THANK GOD. They called my name and I was the last one.  Bye Pheonix. Things to do in Portland

4-6-17 Hello! Last weekend, my family came to visit me in Portland. First of all, Portland's a beautiful city. It's small, but there's plenty of things to do. We went to the waterfront to see the cherry blossoms. 💐 Then we went to the Saturday Market. I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try African food. Hmmm.... Hmmm... I got a plate full of seasoned chicken, chili beans, yellowish vegetables and mysterious dressing on a flat bread that tasted like a thick crepe. I liked everything except the flat bread but it's worth the try! 😉 * * * Portland's well-known for its food trucks. (This is purely my opinion that has no scientific evidence. I think food trucks are amazing.) There's food trucks all over the city. This place we ended up going to had food trucks surrounding a whole block. I'd love to try all of them.
