One night two days trip to Oregon coast

Day 1

The trip started in Portland at 8am. We headed to the Cannon beach.

We had to pull aside to put chains on our tires.

The weather was perfect!😎


Then we were on our way to our campsite in Lincoln City. 


We stopped by at Tillamook Cheese Factory for quick lunch, ice cream and of course samples of cheese 🧀.

As we were heading to the campsite, we caught this amazing sunset.

We arrived at the Devils Lake State Park around 5pm. We had a yurt reserved. After checking in, we went to the outlet mall nearby.

Day 2

The next morning/afternoon, we visited the Drift Creek Falls. 

The roads were dangerous.

We finally arrived. The hike was about 1.5 miles.

It was a narrow and slightly shaky bridge. 😨


It is so beautiful.


If you're looking for a short vacation spot and like being adventurous, I'd recommend these places!!

11.13.16 ~ 11.20.16 Weeks are going by REALLY fast! It's close to Thanksgiving and Christmas 😄. My work has been treating me well. As of now, I actually enjoy work because they are doable but challenging enough. I learn something new every day. I am less intimidated when I'm given a project. Frosty Chicago

12/10/16 - 12/12/16 Saturday morning, I went from PDX to PHX. My final destination was ORD. My flight at PHX got cancelled... 😲😲😲 My Chicago families were waiting for me. I started panicking because it was my grandma's birthday and I didn't want to miss the birthday party.  The American Airlines customer service lady didn't know what she was doing... took forever to rebook my flight to the next available one. After 30 minutes and asking two of her co-workers she finally had me on standby for the next flight. Standby doesn't guarantee anything... I started asking God to help me get on the flight. They started calling the people on standby. 33 people were all waiting desperately. I was listed as the 8th person. THANK GOD. They called my name and I was the last one.  Bye Pheonix. Things to do in Portland

4-6-17 Hello! Last weekend, my family came to visit me in Portland. First of all, Portland's a beautiful city. It's small, but there's plenty of things to do. We went to the waterfront to see the cherry blossoms. 💐 Then we went to the Saturday Market. I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try African food. Hmmm.... Hmmm... I got a plate full of seasoned chicken, chili beans, yellowish vegetables and mysterious dressing on a flat bread that tasted like a thick crepe. I liked everything except the flat bread but it's worth the try! 😉 * * * Portland's well-known for its food trucks. (This is purely my opinion that has no scientific evidence. I think food trucks are amazing.) There's food trucks all over the city. This place we ended up going to had food trucks surrounding a whole block. I'd love to try all of them.
