Let it Snow!

Portland was covered in snow for a week!

When the weather forecast warned us about the snow storm... here at Portland... I thought they were over-exaggerating. On Tuesday evening, I left work without thinking.

I woke up in the middle of the night. By the time I looked out the window, there was approximately 5 inches of snow!

And it sure didn't look like it was going to stop.

In the morning, we had about a foot of snow! I got up all excited to go out. Haha. 

Yes, I'm still young and loving snow ☃.

I was surprised to see that the buses and the Max were running.

Yeah..probably not a good idea to bike...

I made it to the office!

Our office rarely closes, but we did close on Wednesday. It didn't matter to me because I still came in. I thought I'd be the only one, but another associate came. She and I enjoyed working in the empty office. We worked a little, talked for a half an hour, and looked out the window most of the time. 😅

Because the temperature stayed below the freezing point for the next few days, many people were out of the office. 

It was a slow week.

It seems like my busy season will start next week with 60 hours of client work scheduled.

Looking forward to it 😂😂😂.

On Friday, I went out to look for succulents 🌵. I found Hammer + Vine on Yelp and checked it out.

It was a cute little place. 😻

Everything is SO cute. I want them all. Haha.

I picked out a small plant for a gift.

I'm coming back to get something for myself next time!

(Ahem... my birthday is coming soon 😉😉.)

This year, my birthday will be very special. I'll be celebrating (more like working...) at the office!!! And it will be the first birthday without my family 😢.

That's okay, I'll be fine. 

On Saturday, I went into the office to help my co-worker.

I caught a sunrise!

Afterwards, we went to Mother's Bistro for breakfast.

On Saturday, I went to go watch La La Land with the associates. I think I can call them friends now. 😁

I recommend the movie!

On Sunday, we finally made it to church! It was good seeing the church family. It was a fun day. After service and lunch, we played boardgames and had a birthday party. 🎉

So far, it still is a slow week. But that's okay because I need time to study.

It has finally warmed up and started raining. I'd hate to be out in this weather and I'm missing the snow.
