Angela's in PDX

12-13-16 ~ 12-18-16 I had a blast in Chi-town! It was dangerously cold, but nothing stopped me from getting around. As a reminder, the purpose of the trip was for us to learn about the tax software our clients might be using. So the firm sent my coworker and me to Chicago.  The Chicago office is located in Aon Center. FYI, it's the fourth tallest building in Chicago.  Here's why I took so many pictures. 12/10/16 - 12/12/16 Saturday morning, I went from PDX to PHX. My final destination was ORD. My flight at PHX got cancelled... 😲😲😲 My Chicago families were waiting for me. I started panicking because it was my grandma's birthday and I didn't want to miss the birthday party.  The American Airlines customer service lady didn't know what she was doing... took forever to rebook my flight to the next available one. After 30 minutes and asking two of her co-workers she finally had me on standby for the next flight. Standby doesn't guarantee anything... I started asking God to help me get on the flight. They started calling the people on standby. 33 people were all waiting desperately. I was listed as the 8th person. THANK GOD. They called my name and I was the last one.  Bye Pheonix. 10.30.16 ~ 11.4.16 Sunday was our free day!  I went to the Rock Church (http://www.sdrock.com/) with friends from Alabama and Iowa offices. I am grateful to have met them and gone to church with them. The worship was such a blessing! This was one of the best moments in my life. I was in tears.😂 I don't know how I've come this far in life. Sometimes it's easy to forget how blessed I am.. believing that I've earned it. But without God, I wouldn't be where I am now - I have a great job that sends us to trainings at beautiful locations and pays for pretty much everything. After service, with friends from Alabama and San Francisco offices, we went to San Diego Zoo. Unfortunately, it started raining. Rain in San Diego is unusual but it happened to rain on our only free day. That's okay, I'm used to it... My aunt who lives in town took me out for dinner.😄 We came to Coasterra. WOW. What a view!
