Angela's in PDX

I'm in San Diego for training. If you didn't know, 3 weeks ago, I started working for an accounting firm (Big 4) as a tax associate. All the new hires across the country are here for training.  I take pictures when I have time and they're definitely outside of training. So, it may seem as if I am on my vacation, but no, I'm NOT (I wish I was). We work from 8am-6pm and sometimes longer if we have assignments. Last Sunday, when I arrived at SAN, a gentleman who was fully dressed up and holding a sign with my name on it was patiently waiting for me (flight was delayed for 15 min). He pulled over his BMW and kindly opened the door for me. I'm being spoiled! This is the hotel (Marriott Marquis) we are staying at for 2 weeks. Here's my room. We are assigned a roommate. Luckily, she is very friendly; also a Korean. One of my prayers was to meet good people and be able to fit in. Both were answered! I've met people from B...

Second week in Portland... here it goes. 6am - I get up and get ready for work. 8am - I'm in the office. 5pm - I get out. (Only because it's not the busy season.) 9pm - I go to bed. The view won't get old. I love the trees changing colors. View from the 38th floor. (I take pictures during my lunch break.) But I work on the 37th. This is the view close to my cubicle on the 37th. Gloomy day, but still awesome. Food I had during the week. Starting to get lazy taking pictures of my home-cooked meal haha. Work-related social event was at Ecliptic Brewery and I took home a free bottle of beer. I'm not much of a drinker but I don't decline free stuff😅. View from my apartment. That's the pink building.
